Writer Philip D. Clarke’s May 30th letter was right on about “Taking Issues With the Reverence for Truman” commenting on Pruden on Politics column, “lauding the liberal icons of yesteryear…” who were “architects of our current massive problems”, as being well intentioned, is a gross understatement.
What Clarke states Truman was guilty of is nothing near to the traitor he was who trampled to shreds his Oath of Office to protect and defend the Constitution. Truman was obligated to clean up the Communist, Socialist and spies mess that FDR allowed to operate in America during his tenure. Instead, he created a great cover up to save the Democrat Party and vilified a Senator who was trying to tell the people the truth. You don’t believe it? Read “Blacklisted by History” by M. Stanton Evans.
There is always a reason for these events and their patriotism should be questioned. Harry S Truman was responsible for today’s internal war on the Patriotic vs the anti-Americans of a foreign ideology, whose leaders inhabit the White House. Now it will take an amendment to the definition of Treason to get rid of our anti-Americans.
