I address the author’s statement of, “Is one an enemy who works surreptitiously to detach the government of the United States from the fetters that moor it to the firm footings of the Constitution?” Sen. McCarthy certainly cried out the truths of ‘Treason’ when he “decried the Roosevelt and Truman administrations of ‘twenty years of treason'”. But what about the following?
America went further with Section 2385 of the Federal Code of 1948 that states, “Whoever knowingly and willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teachers the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of…”, which gathers dust somewhere instead of being used in thousands of cases today, including the cabal of Socialist/Communists in the White House and half of Congress of their Progressives and abetting supporters.
The Constitutional Foundation undusts Section 2385, adds to the above, “moving to install a foreign ideology whose theory or desires that contradicts the Founder’s created Constitution which will or can destroy the Constitution of the United States of America are punishable for Treason as set out in the original Article III, Section 3 of the Constitution of the United States of America” as an amendment to the Article III, Section 3, which defines Treason, bringing it into the 21st Century for America’s dire need today. Thereby giving the Constitution a permanent means to protect itself and We, the people, the means to guard our freedoms and rights, as the Founders mentioned we should.
